Essential Responsibilities: Design product or service behavior that create business value for customers and company, while meeting user needs and expressing product and corporate brand values. Use storyboards and narratives to express how a product or service should behave to deliver capabilities in a way that supports user needs, goals, mental models and workflows. Guide effective documentation and communication of design (via wireframes, mockups, and requirements engineering). Research and present emerging design, technology, industry, regulatory and market trends to the team or community.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Industrial Design, Interaction Design or STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) and 5 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree related interaction design experience. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Industrial Design, Interaction Design or STEM major and 2 years of post-Bachelor’s degree related interaction design experience. Position also requires 2 years of experience with decomposing end user feature requirements into user friendly software interactions; applying HTML and CSS to contemporary web applications; and prototyping increasing fidelity from sketches to production ready wireframes; and 1 year of experience with creating User Experience (UX) design documentation that follow or extend existing interaction pattern library; and performing and synthesizing end user research to translate into UX design.
