Role Summary: The Performance Engineer provides direction and assistance to work group in order to meet assigned objectives. In this role you will report to Project Leader and will be responsible to coordinate and supervise all activities for the performance analysis at Technical University (TU). You will be managing short and long term priorities and closely collaborate with global teams and other partners to meet the challenging time schedule.
Execute thermodynamics analysis of turboprop engine, with guidance from senior engineering resources,
Perform/support engine thermodynamics cycle calculation for three main domains: Serial engine manufacturing support, providing performance analysis for derivative engines and NPI programmes,
Cooperate with global teams (Stress&Life Analysis, Turbomachinery Engineering, Materials Engineering),
Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers,
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering specialized in Aerospace preferable (or equivalent in knowledge/experience),
Advanced knowledge of programming C++, Matlab, Simulink,
Knowledge of engine thermodynamics cycle,
Basic knowledge of turbine (turboprop) engines principles,
Familiarity with design, test and analysis tools and systems,
Prior experience in collaboration with universities,
Proficiency in English.
Strong analytical and organizational skills, in particular ability to manage priorities in short amount of time,
