Role Summary: Direct the efforts of Reciprocating Compression (RC) Region Sales Team for sales of New RC Equipment and RC Services. Coordinates these efforts with NAM Sales Director to meet company goals.
Essential Responsibilities: In the role of Senior Sales Staff Director you will:
Manage the entire sales process with their team, including the use of our CRM system, Deal Machine (Sales Force.com Software)
Promote the RC products with current channels to market and end users of RC products.
Work with the RC Product Company, DTS Marketing group and The NAM Director of Sales to develop specific Channel and End User Strategies to increase customer spend share and market penetration for the assigned territory
Supervise Regional RC sales force. Review the Regional project / opportunity lists to establish forecasts and drive these opportunities to closure
Work with Marketing groups to provide pricing, competitive market data to help establish pricing policies to meet company bookings and margin objectives
Work with Marketing groups to create advertising and promotional opportunities for RC products and services
Establish bookings budgets on an annual basis with management and individual sales goals annually for sales force
Review and aid in the establishment of tradeshow agendas and User group meetings
Establish metrics and report metrics for use with the sales force, measuring a pre-determined set of data points
Review customer satisfaction data as available
Participate in industry forums and conferences. Develop and communicate product development needs to meet market demands
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Account Sales
Ability to promote and sell a total equipment and services solution to the customer
Prior mechanical equipment sales experience is necessary, preferably in the gas compression market
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Power Point and Excel
SAP experience preferred
Good presentation skills is a must
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
Established project management skills
