The deal will be subject to customary closing conditions such as regulatory review and appropriate consultation and we expect this to be complete by mid-2017. Water & Process Technologies will operate business as usual through this process and will continue to meet its commitments to its valued customers and employees. This includes hiring strong talent to help the business grow and be successful. GE is targeting to complete the sale of the business by mid-2017.

Role Summary: The North America (NAM) Services Finance Manager will demonstrate accountability for functional, and business objectives for the North America, LAM and Caribbean BOO, Mobile, and SDI businesses ($200+ million region). In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy for the region while partnering with the Operations team.
Essential Responsibilities: NAM Services Finance Manager, you will:
Serve as a business partner to the operating team to drive business initiatives, growth, and profitability and provide financial leadership to establish and accomplish regional financial goals
Establish operating forecasts and plans, including analyzing, reporting and maintaining financial operations in support of operational activities, goals and targets
Be the key individual in evaluating investment decisions for ELTO builds including profitability, analysis, return calculations ( ROTC, IRR, ect...), and as sold vs as delivered financial performance
Support monthly and quarterly closing and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy of financials & timely presentation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to management including variances to plans
Partner with technical / business leaders and staff to drive operating performance and act as champion for revenue growth, cost optimization, and productivity
Develop digital analytics that enable the finance and operating teams to have clear visibility to their costs and to identify productivity opportunities
Coordinate with Global GOF and HQ Controllership teams for timely closure of identified accounting and operational process gaps
Work with cross-functional team (sales, engineering, sourcing, etc) to drive productivity & controllership within the region
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting from an accredited university or college (OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Finance)
Minimum of 4 years of increasing levels of financial experience
Technical expertise in Accounting
Strong Excel skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear / concise manner
Strong analytical skills with ability to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
