Role Summary:
Assist Project Managers in activities related to Project procurement, logistics, documentation, integration and FAT preparation.

Essential Responsibilities:

The typical project in SWS covers all phases from reception of Customer order through detailed scope validation and solution delivery until acceptance and take over by customer, including complete billing and cash collection.
Within the SWS Operations organization in EURAF, more than 100 projects are managed in parallel, which constitutes the portfolio of active projects. Each project is directed by a dedicated project manager, responsible of the coordination of the different stakeholders (engineers from the internal organization, external partners and subcontractors, etc). The project manager has full responsibility of the successful completion of his own project, within the time, cost and quality objectives set at the start of the project.
Under the supervision of Project Managers, the main tasks of the PM Assistant will be:

Project supply chain follow-up:

  • Preparation of Project purchasing & logistics requests in coordination with the technical leads
  • Ensure timely responses from suppliers, proactively monitors delivery times in coordination with supply chain dpt.
  • Prepares and updates a dashboard of the Project purchases and shipment (PR/PO references, forecasted and effective delivery dates, savings, etc)
  • Collect from suppliers/forwarders all necessary documents for the Project (technical documentation, user documentation, test certificates, certificates of origin, etc)
  • Prepares supply chain related chapter of Projects’ internal and external reporting

    Management of DTS (Document Transmittal sheet), follow-up of approval from customer, keep MDL (Master Documents List) up-to-date.
    Prepares documentation related chapter of Projects’ internal and external reporting

    Telecom/telemetry integration activities follow-up in relationship with technical leads and suppliers.
    Manage associated logistics, equipment delivery, customer FAT notification, post-FAT defects clearance and shipment preparation.


  • Master / Bachelor Student in Engineering with strong interest in Project Management
  • Advanced MS Office skills helpful (Excel mandatory)
  • Fluent in English & French as the primary working and reporting language
