Role Summary: Product Specialist Works with cross-functional teams to deliver features and products. Shows increasing understanding of the technology stack and its impact on the final product. Routinely collaborates with UX Design to know customers and understand behaviors. Conducts customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborates on personas.
Essential Responsibilities: The Technical Product Analyst also demonstrates the ability to influence customers and product managers through persuasion and influencing. Collaborates with Product Managers for the release and sprint backlogs short-term roadmap for MVPs and quarterly releases. Collaborates with Product Managers/TPMs to manage the backlog; continuously orders and prioritizes to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready. Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs. Collaborates with Product Managers/TPMs to decompose features into consumable user stories. Engages frequently (50% of the time) with the development team; facilitates discussions, provides clarification, testing and validation; contributes to design activities and decisions. Collaborates with Product Managers/TPMs to translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units. Partners with Service Owners/ Development Managers to ensure healthy development process. Applies Agile Methodology.
Essential Responsibilities: • Analyzing and supporting the management of the product portfolio for a suite of products and services in Digital Workplace Solutions • Partnering with the Customer Engagement team to assist with the management of overall product health, viability, viability, and adoption for suite of Digital Workplace products and services • Helping to define the roadmap for a suite of Digital Workplace products and services to maximize customer adoption and customer value • Supporting the development of clear and exciting product positioning, value propositions, and product stories for a suite of Digital Workplace Solutions, along with the Customer Engagement team, that position CoreTech Solutions as the preferred technology supplier for GE business units • Partnering with the Customer Engagement team to gather customer feedback and align Digital Workplace product suite offerings to deliver on business outcomes • Partnering with IT Engineering organization to determine how to maximize a set of Digital Workplace product offerings and current packaged solutions and services • Assisting with the management of the product lifecycle plan and identify resourcing needs, from inception to retirement, for a set of Digital Workplace products, enabling the Engineering team to focus on delivery of technology solutions • Contributing to New Product Introduction (NPI), and all associated functions, including business case validation, positioning, and the development of the strategy for the cost structure of products, service packages, and offerings for a group of GO CoreTech Solutions Digital Workplace products and services • Communicating with and influencing internal and supplier teams to ensure Digital Workplace products developed and delivered as per the roadmap and strategic vision • Helping to build product positioning strategies and influencing the delivery teams to ensure Digital Workplace products are positioned and implemented as per the vision • Supporting the development of the strategy for the cost structure of a group of products, service packages, and offerings in Digital Workplace Solutions • Helping to manage the budget and billing models for a set of product lines in Digital Workplace Solutions • Contributing to the development of productivity strategies and tracking productivity targets for products and services • Partnering with other product management teams to define a consistent, integrated, holistic product management approach for all products and services • Facilitating the genesis of solutions in a productive, efficient manner, working across technologies and geographies to deliver customer-focused business outcomes • Analyzing the marketplace, customers, and competitors to determine the right product features and benefits in order to maximize productivity for GE businesses
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Product Management/Marketing, Information Management, Finance, or other technical / IT field, OR in lieu of a degree: a HS diploma/GED and 2+ years of IT experience or equivalent military experience/training
1 - 3 years of experience in Product Management, IT Product Management, IT infrastructure operations, and/or IT Financial Modeling
Preferred location of the GE GO CoreTech Solutions Van Buren Township, MI; Atlanta, GA. Open to GO CoreTech Solutions locations globally, but MUST work out of a GO CoreTech Solutions location
Must be willing to travel 10-15% of the time
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in and working hands on with Digital Workplace Solutions

Strong business acumen; experience managing financials, budget, operating plans
Ability to set and drive strategy in a complex business environment where technical requirements are continuously evolving and where technical and business solutions are undefined
Ability to identify and capitalize on synergies (technical, process, etc.) across the organization in order to maximize the functionality of the technology and drive business solutions
Deep experience in business intelligence and data analytics
A track record of successfully delivering products to the market
Experience working in a functional product management organization
Experience engaging with customers in all phases of the product cycle - from pre-sales to ongoing operational delivery and support
