Role Summary: Responsible for the finance and controllership activities involved with all aspects of investment accounting and reporting. Provide information and reporting to various levels of senior management, regulatory and rating agencies.
Serve as subject matter expert for all aspects of investment accounting and reporting.
Prepare allowance for insurance receivables minimally on quarterly basis.
Communicate investment portfolio information to GE Headquarters, senior management, legal entity board of directors, regulators and rating agencies.
Analysis of key investment trends and drivers.
Prepare losses and impairment reports.
Bachelors Degree in Accounting.
Minimum of four (4) years accounting experience.
Experience managing projects.
Experience using financial systems and MS Office - e.g., Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Experience in investment accounting and/or public accounting.
Prior experience in the insurance industry.
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and ability to work cross functionally.
Strong problem identification and resolution skills.
