Role Summary: Our Test Engineering department is looking for engineers to work within the area of testing of composite materials, working in the range from small coupon testing up to full scale testing of wind turbine blades. Development, verification and validation of test methods, equipment and documentation are a part of the daily tasks. You will be based in our Technology Center in Lunderskov, where our test team is located and a significant part of our testing is performed.
Do you want to work in cross-functional project teams working closely together with colleagues from across the globe? As engineer you will be the link between technology projects, the development workshops and our accredited full scale blade test laboratory.
You will be at the forefront of testing new full scale blades and sub-components.
You will develop new methods and equipment for our test facilities,
You will coordinate the execution of test engineering activities together with test team.
You will ensure compliance with ISO17025 and a large scale of other standards.
You have a Mechanical engineering degree, and you have worked some years with testing of large composite structures, including development, performing and reporting of test activities.
You are a strong communicator with the ability to network with all potential stakeholders.
You are a self-starter who creates progress whilst never losing sight of targets.
If you are knowledgeable in LEAN and Six Sigma methodology and well founded in programming and experience of 3D drawing/modeling it would be a clear advantage.
