Role Summary: Troubleshoot, locate problems and make proper repairs or replacements to electronic circuits. In this role you will guide and direct people of lesser skills who may be assisting on a particular job.
Essential Responsibilities: In the role of Electrician, 2nd-Shift, you will:
Perform highly diversified work on electrical constructions, repairs and preventative maintenance
Install, test, and maintain light and power distribution circuits, motors, motor control centers at the 480 volt 3 phase, transformers, switchgear at the 2400 volt or higher
Working knowledge of National Electrical Code
Interpret circuit diagrams and conventional symbols
Work at heights in excess of 30 feet from man lift alone or with other maintenance employees
PPE requirement based off of Arc Flash studies
Operate man lift and fork lift
High School Diploma/GED from an accredited school or institution and/or Electrical Trade School Graduate
Minimum 1 year of electrical experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment
Work 2nd shift
Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required
Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities
Be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required
Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Be subjected to extreme heat for extended periods of time
