Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work with the required expertise and care in line with the relevant rules, policies and instructions given by the direct manager or substitute.
  • Work in line with the GE Spirit & Letter guidelines.
  • Completely execute the tasks given by the direct manager.
  • On-going self-development, participation at additional courses, trainings
  • Maintain, manage and improve inventory level and mix
  • Measure and report-out service and inventory, maximize service levels, optimize inventory levels
  • Provide availability data to Product Management and Commercial Team
  • Follow regulations related to Lighting Products, execute necessary actions in operations
  • Manage, communicate and measure forecast and provide data for manufacturing capacity planning
  • Frequently collect and review market demand, including promotion activities and OEM customer tracking
  • Do the planning and issue PO-s, track shipments
  • Contribute to medium term planning process
  • Lead and execute transfers
  • Actualize fulfillment parameters to ensure the most recent info is available for the X-functions
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc analytics (inventory, forecast, availability, supplier capacities)
  • Develop current processes and find opportunities for process improvement and innovation


  • University or college degree - Economics or Logistics/Supply Chain management preferred
  • Fluency in English and Hungarian
  • Some work experience in multinational environment, preferably Supply Chain
  • Excellent PC skills (MS Office), experience with DataWarehouse and SAP system is an advantage
  • Comfortable in working with numbers, analytical reports, has strong analytical skills
  • Ability to understand working of complex systems
  • Ability to work independently and taking responsibility
  • Hard worker, performs well under pressure, has strong organizational and prioritizing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, drive results through cross-functional level
  • Open-minded and proactive
  • Good team player
