Role Summary: The role will report directly to the Commercial Excellence Analyst and will be responsible for advertising, branding and lead generation for the sales department within GECAS AMS. This includes developing sustainable marketing plans and systems to drive global, commercial growth through a variety of mediums, paper and digital, as well as working across the wider GE to leverage company spend and capture all branding opportunities.
Achieve marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing recommendations to strategic marketing, branding and advertising plans, preparing and completing action plans.
Identifying trends, determining improvements and implementing change.
Competency in graphic design and applicable computer programs to produce quality materials, digital or otherwise, compliant to company’s branding standards, to increase our global brand presence to drive global growth.
Ownership and development of marketing systems and campaigns to promote a product, service or idea. This includes planning, advertising, design, distribution, sponsorship, event organization and research. Manage production and distribution of all materials, including, but not limited to, leaflets, folders, flyers, e-newsletters, bulletins, and promotions.
Liaise and network directly with customers and suppliers to maximize impact of spend, increase market intelligence, and improve overall marketing effectiveness.
Cooperate with members of company’s global marketing/branding functions to leverage spend across the wider GE and ensure branding and promotions meet company standard.
Evaluate, develop and lead overall global conference strategy, coordinating with each regional manager to create actionable plans for events and branding opportunities while following through with booking, purchase and logistics.
Build and maintain marketing resource website portal for effective internal/external distribution of marketing tools and resources amongst the organization.
Design, develop and maintain customer presentations, both generic and specific, as needed across all business functions, as well as providing a central repository for internal use.
Manage budget, communicating recommendations to sales leaders on available outlets and impactful spend.
Negotiate contracts and orders internally and externally, adhering to all compliance and process requirements.
Ability to segment customer base into target audiences, creating and maintaining consistent lead-generating marketing campaigns, in both paper and digital mediums, providing a customer touch with minimal expense.
Perform other duties and projects as needed.
Conform to all company branding requirements and maintain adherence to The Spirit and the Letter.
Bachelor’s Degree with experience in a marketing or sales operations discipline, preferably minimum two years.
Experience working with marketing concepts and graphic design.
Experience working with PC/software programs, preferably Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Outlook, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel programs.
