Role Summary:
As the Lead Business Analyst – SFDC/CPQ, you will work with Commercial and Sales functional teams to implement CPQ solutions across different Renewables P&Ls. You will be the point of contact for CPQ product for functional teams. You will also work with Digital Thread IT Leader & CIO to come up with CPQ Digital Thread strategy & productivity analysis.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Understands
    business requirement and customer requirement.
  • Defines business requirement and
    idea validation.
  • Collaborate with the business and functional teams to build
    business case and identifies feasibility of business case.
  • Map product
    specifications to product features.
  • Defines product roadmap and delivery of
    continuous product value
  • Anticipate
    business needs and recommend solutions based on software capabilities
  • Work
    closely with functional users and the development team to capture, document,
    prioritize, and “run point” on all functional and user requirements
  • Create
    project plans and work with development teams, translate business requirements
    to software specs and oversee development work
  • Work
    with IT leader to come up with software resources and funding requirements for
    upcoming projects
  • Collaborate
    with the project teams to ensure project success and integration with parallel
    implementations
  • Coordinate
    all Requirements/Design/Development tracking in the Project Management
    tool
  • Ability
    to design, configure, and develop in SFDC/CPQ environments as per business
    requirements
  • Perform
    iterative and unit testing following each requirement’s completion
  • Facilitate
    user acceptance testing and resolve defects
  • Develop
    detailed, user-friendly test scripts in support of iterative testing, SIT,
    UAT
  • Work
    with functional teams to plan and train users on CPQ software
  • Work
    with SFDC managed apps vendors to coordinate installations and technical
    support
  • Collaborate
    with Digital Council through IT leader to understand GE wide CPQ
    implementations, software used and maximize collaboration opportunities
  • Collaborate
    with IT Leader to analyze Digital Thread productivity derived from CPQ
    implementations
  • Work
    with Digital thread IT Leader and coordinate with CRM and ERP teams for digital
    thread data integrations



Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s
    Degree in Computer Science, IT or similar technical field
  • Minimum
    of 5 years of IT experience
  • Minimum
    of 3 years of Business / System Analysis experience
  • Minimum
    of 2 years of Salesforce and CPQ software administration and development
    experience


Desired Characteristics:
  • Basic
    understanding of current information technology concepts, software development
    process and terminology
  • Demonstrated
    project management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing,
    scheduling and communication
  • Salesforce
    developer & administrator certification
  • SaaS
    & PaaS experience
  • Salesforce
    CPQ(Steelbrick), APTTUS or similar CPQ experience

One
or more of the following certifications is desired

    • Salesforce Certified Sales
      Consultant
    • Apttus CPQ 201 Certified
      Administrator
    • Salesforce Certified platform
      Developer
    • Salesforce certified
      Administrator
  • Experience
    in large enterprise level projects writing software application
    requirements
  • Analytic,
    creative and business focused problem solver. Can take a problem and express it
    as stories and tasks for developers.
  • Team
    oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional and
    virtual teams in a matrix environment
  • Demonstrated
    ability to excel in a global matrix organization
  • Experience
    with the Agile software development methodology
  • Software
    engineering & SDLC experience
  • Renewable
    Energy experience & knowledge
  • Strong
    organization, planning and global leadership skills
  • Strong
    interpersonal and coaching skills
