Role Summary:
This position is designed to provide leadership for Commercial training and development in Life Sciences, with a focus on activities in US, Canada & Europe, providing Commercial teams with support in all areas of people development. A great opportunity for an experienced facilitator in commercial skills, foundation soft skill and entry level Leadership. Some Life Science product or commercial experience would be ideal but not mandatory.

Essential Responsibilities:
The Commercial Development Leader will be responsible for delivering skill based, technical and developmental training experiences to support the current and long term needs of the organization. This individual will lead and support projects related to learning & development through a variety of methods to increase participant effectiveness.



Product & Market & Industry Awareness: Driving increased product and marketing and industry education for commercial teams in Europe & USCAN

Drive, project manage & facilitate content for commercial, external customers & distributors education programs that support the outcome selling approach globally.

Support in collating the requirement/gap analysis regarding training requirements in collaboration with functional stakeholders (commercial, PM, Marketing) with strong commercial alignment.

Forming relationships with key stakeholders, including subject matter experts, field base commercial colleagues and the wider organization to execute needs and strategy.

Ensure platform and content align to outcome selling whilst allowing for technical training needs.

Develop fully functioning Internal & External LMS platform, launch and drive adoption.

Develop Market & Industry Awareness modules - co ordinating KOLs


Foundation Commercial Skills Facilitation: Facilitating existing material for foundation Commercial Skills in Europe and USCAN.

Softskills: Facilitating existing material for softskills both face to face and virtually in Europe and USCAN.

Catalyst -Eu & USCAN

Onboarding: Implement and manage the structured onboarding in LS Commercial.
Implementing a commercially viable program of development that excites new joiners about their future with the business, and provides them with a solid foundation of knowledge for the business, market and products.

First Line Manager support of commercial team development:
Supporting first line managers in commercial maximizing the development of all commercial Teams through aligning learning objectives with the correct development opportunity. Collating nominations on an annual basis with an understanding of business strategy and commercial team needs.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
5+ years experience in training/personnel development department
Bachelor Degree in related field
Must be willing and able to travel 25% of the time both domestically in the US and internationally (Europe and Canada)
High standard of communication – both verbal and written
Articulate, confident and experienced in facilitation
Business level English
Able to work in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders. Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Solid Influencing skills - excellent interpersonal, consulting and engagement skills
Ability to plan and manage a range of priorities, and deliver projects to deadline, within an agreed/defined standard
Foundation knowledge of customer, product and markets.
Ability to identify new and creative solutions to business challenges
Must be willing and able to work out of the Marlborough, MA offices

Quality Specific Goals
1. Knowledge and understanding of all Global Privacy and Anti-Competition Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare HIPPA Guidelines, NEMA Regulations, etc.) and operates within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int’l Law is broken
2. Knowledge and understanding of all Environmental Health Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare EHS Policies, GE Healthcare Fleet Rules, etc.) and operate within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int’l Law is broken
3. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
4. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
5. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
6. Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System
