Role Summary: Participate in the design of industrial x-ray, computed tomography and ultrasound systems at GE Inspection Technologies.
Create and/or update electrical drawings
Design electrical systems
Write technical documents (User or Service Manuals, Assembly or Test Procedures …)
Write, modify, test and validate PLC programs
Create and maintain Material Master and Bill Of Material
Support engineering group in any other aspects required
Travel may be required to support customer and other GE sites
Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent
Experience with PLC programing
Experience with ePlan software
Basic understanding of ERP systems (preferably SAP)
Good communication skills in German and English both oral and written
Knowledge of GE Proficy PLC software
Knowledge of Siemens Simatic Step7 PLC software
Knowledge of Non Destructive Testing technology, especially Radiography equipment
