Ensure Quality Assurance / Quality Control performance at site to prevent any cost of poor quality resulting from Construction & Commissioning activities performance
Support the implementation of the Construction & Commissioning Quality Management System at site
Tasks & Responsibilities
Description of the main principle tasks & responsibilities
Ensure site documentation is generated, distributed, updated and archived in accordance with the Construction & Commissioning Management system requirements.
Carry out internal and contractor quality audits as per the Site Quality audit program.
Assist and coordinate any planned external audits.
Ensure that the ITPs (Inspection & Test Programs), the ITPLs (Inspection & Test Plans) and any erection documentation (isometrics, procedures, etc.) provided by GE are effectively communicated to the site management team and the contractors.
Ensure that Quality Control processes are fully implemented and continuously monitored.
Ensure that inspection / testing during Civil, Mechanical & Electrical erection and Commissioning are conducted, documented, checked and validated as per the ITPLs
Participate / supervise acceptance testing and/or approval by customers, third parties and governmental authorities whenever required.
Ensure that the final QA/QC documentation is continuously compiled by the Subcontractors and the involved GE site team in accordance with GE and client requirements for final hand-over.
Ensure that the NCR (Non-Conformance Report) System, PIRS (Project Information Retrieval System) database, ERS (Experience Response System) and any other tools are fully deployed at site and that the users are adequately supported and trained.
Provide Quality induction training to the site personnel.
Ensure compliance with Quality road map assessment requirements and drive the close-out of any CAR (Corrective Action Request) raised.
Any other tasks assigned by the Site Quality Manager.
Provide Quality inputs to the site management to support on-time and in-budget execution of the project.
Ensure that the site Quality Management system is compliant with any regulatory and GE requirements as well as any applicable codes & standards.
Ensure overall site welding quality and welder performance meet GE requirements.
Ensure that a suitable welding monitoring system is efficiently implemented at site
3. Specific Functional/Technical Authority:
��To notify the site management whenever an activity does not meet the Quality requirements
To carry out internal site audits and contractor audits to monitor compliance with GE Quality requirements.

One evidence of good performance related to each single task and responsibility mentioned above
Quality performance from the Customer Satisfaction Survey.
NCR related to Site Quality Construction & Commissioning performance Site Quality Road Map assessment result.
Capacity to support the resolution of quality issues at site
Site welding quality and welder performance
Objectives, Targets and Performance Measurements defined on a yearly basis.
Area(s) where the position holder is the decision maker:
Improvement activities and programs;
Release Directives, Procedures, Instructions and any other quality related documents / records;
Preparation & implementation of Audit Programs;
All programs and initiatives required to ensure strategies, policies and 3rd party certification of management systems are achieved.

Stop any activity or process if Quality / EHS is at stake or Processes may have become instable or incapable;

University degree in an Engineering discipline or other education with experience in Quality on
Qualification and/or experience in Welding inspection and Non-Destructive Tests.
more than 5-year construction site experience.
Knowledge and experience on construction codes / standards.
Fluent in English.
