Role Summary:
The Finance Manager will be a part of the finance team that supports the broader channels group. The individual will bring sound financial insights, mgmt and control to the team’s activities to facilitate profitable segment growth. You are expected to act as the primary finance point of contact and assist the team with decisions involving financial implications. Their primary focus is developing and implementing tools to understand investment trade-offs, performance mgmt, and risk assessment.

Essential Responsibilities:
Additionally, they will engage a cross functional team to help define, shape and implement an appropriate go-to-market and growth strategies for the ISV program. The role will work with the team to identify appropriate markets, partners, and customers to drive growth. They will also work with the team to deliver, innovate and brand all go-to-market methods in the ISV program. The individual will help map and design internal processes to support broader business goals. This role will report functionally to the Executive Director of Finance for Channels and Ecosystems.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross functional team members to define, implement, and execute GE’s ISV
    Strategy
  • Help articulate the strategy for running ISV portion of portfolio
  • Link financial, operational, customer, and internal metrics to achieve strategic goals
  • Define relevant performance indicators and develop ways to track, influence and communicate key indicators
  • Develop annual and quarterly targets for ISV metrics to measure operating efficiency
  • Insert financial acumen and rigor into ISV deal reviews, risk assessment and onboarding to assure compliance and profitable deals
  • Enable ISV’s with standardized tools and templates
  • Construct financial models that improve prospective investment decisions and analyze the performance of current investments
  • Develop deal models to communicate assumptions, and understand required investments and expected returns
  • Develop standard pricing and revenue share models for different types of ISVs, work with pricing teams to drive consistency across offerings
  • Articulate Predix marketplace improvements to help GE create, capture and retain value from ISV business segment
  • Participate in and facilitate discussions with prospective ISVs to improve GE’s business model and accelerate onboarding process
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Commercial Finance Management OR at least 2 years of experience in an accelerated program in a technical field

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
  • Must be willing to work out of an office in San Ramon, CA

  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • MBA or equivalent master’s degree in accounting, finance, or business strategy
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics
  • GE FMP program (Internal)
  • Completion of or progress towards CPA, CMA, or other appropriate licenses and certifications
