Role Summary:
The Staff Technical Product Manager will be the conduit between our internal Life Sciences Business partners and the digital teams by translating customer requirements to detailed requirements for multiple development teams and managing projects assigned to you. In this role, you will be part of an “entrepreneurial” team that is focused on defining and delivering commercial digital capabilities leveraging in conjunction with multiple other technologies

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications and if necessary, manage requests for changes to the specifications
  • Serve as the direct liaison to functional process owners in order to translate and prioritize requirements for assigned area project and maintenance work
  • Serve as a primary interface with internal and external contributing organization relative to technical requirements, directions and problem resolution
  • Documents user manuals to describe application installation and operating procedures
  • Develop, enhance, debug, support, analyze, maintain and test new/existing functionality which supports internal business units or supporting functions.
  • Solve advanced/complex technical issues.
  • Responsible for developing in Visualforce, Apex, and other technologies to build customized solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including discovery, analysis, requirements definition, solution design, configuration, code development, testing, deployment and support.
  • Work independently to make decisions regarding resolution of issues.
  • Create clear and concise functional and technical specifications, diagrams, and other documentation
  • Proactively explore new technologies to improve the development process and optimize solutions delivery to business
  • Architect, design, prototype, and engineer capabilities and integrations
  • Drive Best-in-Class Implementations for CRM Processes
  • Responsible for the maintenance of application programs & interfaces; coordinates with project teams and business analysts to translate detailed specifications into new or enhanced application solutions
  • Applies standard development procedures and a detailed applications knowledge in area of responsibility to create technical designs driving towards simple, sustainable, and reusable solutions


  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Engineering (or a High School Diploma / GED with strong information systems design, implementation, or integration)
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills
  • Strong experience
  • Experience working to document processes and system requirements
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, proficiency in other Microsoft Office suite applications (PowerPoint, Word, Project, Visio)

  • Strong background with software development/configuratiors on
  • Admin certified
  • Advanced Developer certified
  • Experience with Agile Methodology
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot issues
  • Strong knowledge of service-oriented architecture and design
  • Experience working with and testing web based applications
  • Experience with issue-tracking and agile project management systems such as Rally
  • Ensures understanding of issues and presents clear rationale. Able to speak to mutual needs and win-win solutions. Uses two-way communication to influence outcomes and ongoing results
