Role Summary: Software Integrator: in charge of software continuous integration, configuration and deployment for each product release on target systems; Business applications for the Software solution in Smart Grid field.
Essential Responsibilities: •Windows Server and Linux/Unix enthusiast with system admin skills, in charge of troubleshooting operating systems and applications •Set up target systems (Linux and Windows server) using preconfigure scripts •Perform periodic integration tests •Be able to enter in the source code (PowerShell, Perl), to understand the software behaviors and suggest modifications if required •Software applications configuration and installation •Software solutions customization •Ensures that project and/or product related system design guidelines are being followed.
Qualifications/Requirements: •Medium knowledge of Windows and Linux System Administration •Good knowledge of one scripting language (PowerShell/ Perl) •Experience with virtual machine and virtualization (VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V) •Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP) •At least basic knowledge of programming languages (C / C++ / C#) •Experience with RDBMS: Oracle, MSSQL Server •Troubleshooting skills •Advanced English knowledge
