Role Summary: Reporting to the VP of Technology COE, the Technical Architect will lead the Technology strategy for the ecosystem group. He/She will be responsible for driving co-innovation and co-development activities with strategic partners and support the Tech partner, ISV and SI partner teams with technical content and enablement.
Drive Technology partnering strategy for GE Digital consistent with overall vision for GE Digital
Actively participate in the Build/Buy/Partner portfolio development process and drive technical due diligence
Work as Evangelist for the GE Predix platform and Apps
Drive co-innovation and co-development opportunities with strategic partners
Work with Technology partners to identify areas of collaboration to embed/enhance technology elements of Predix platform
Work with Cloud infrastructure and PaaS partners to enhance GE Predix and enable global rollout
Support System Integrators to identify co-innovation and co-development opportunities with and help build associated business and technical justification
Work with the ISV partners and build a business plan for them to develop micro services and apps on the Predix platform.
Champion Emerging Technology partnerships in the area of Machine Learning, AI and Blockchain that add value to GE Predix platform
Work with Partner Marketing and Sales to build Marketplace awareness
7+ years of experience in Technology, Architecture and Technical enablement roles
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. GE may agree to sponsor an individual for an employment visa now or in the future if there is a shortage of individuals with particular skills.
Must be willing to travel 30%.
Must be willing to work out of an office located in San Ramon, CA.
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
Experience with Emerging Technologies such as Machine Learning/AI and Blockchain
Experience with cloud deployment and application management technologies
Understanding of Cyber Security fundamentals
Demonstrated experience within Alliance/ Partnership management/ Business Development functions
Demonstrate deep understanding of the IOT segment, and best practices to successfully develop and deliver scalable technical solutions to large customers
