Role Summary: Manage receiving & departure shipping inspection at Batavia warehouse facility, including direct interaction with 3rd party logistics & material handling personnel. Responsible for issue identification, communication of corrective actions, & ensure continuous high level of quality, speed, accuracy at both point of asset receipt & outbound prior to dock departure. Technical Operations Coordinator also serves as focal point for coordination and execution of A2A & AOG critical customer orders.
In addition you will :
Provide daily hands on technical expertise to the shop floor receiving and outbound shipping inspection process
Focal point to quarantine assets that fallout from inspection processes
Lead root cause identification and maintain log of issues
Drive corrective actions and spearhead flow-down communication across global shop network, to suppliers, Quality, and technicians
Participate in annual Physical Inventory activities and drive continuous improvement initiatives to mitigate Tooling loss and damage
Spearhead the readiness and lead prompt actions to prepare critical orders (A2A / AOG / work stoppage)
Provide high level of technical support to validate items indicated on AOG Tool Request orders are properly assembled on the dock and in compliant state of Readiness for turnover to freight carrier
Infuse heightened sense of priority and operational rigor across shop receiving, inventory control, engine change kit management, and dock readiness for shipment
Contribute to site-specific initiatives and issue resolution, including EH&S and ergo-related shop floor enhancements
Bachelor’s Degree in related Supply Chain, Aviation, Technical discipline from an accredited university or college (or High School Diploma / GED with minimum 4 years of industry experience)
Infectious enthusiasm, and self-motivated
Manage self-directed workload and ability to prioritize
Demonstrated cross functional integration skills
Process driven approach to problem solving
Proven track record and excellent project execution skills
Results oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently
Experience in Project Management, LEAN, Quality functions
Ability to work effectively in matrix org, and embrace / lead change
