Role Summary: GE Healthcare GmbH in Munich/Germany develops clinical software (ViewPoint) for our global market. With 20 years of experience, we are the leading provider for medical reporting and image management solutions in women’s healthcare. Our business is growing constantly both globally as well as in new medical fields.
As Team Leader (m/f) you are responsible for an agile team of 10+ software developers. The role is based in Munich.
Management/leading/coaching of our Software Development Team
Ensure the achievement of product development goals: efficient, in time and high quality
Know-how /knowledge management within the team
Continuous improvement of processes and tools
Team development to a high-performance team with high level of self-organization and accountability for results
Establish and ensure agile /customer-oriented processes
Ensure agile, goal-oriented cooperation with other teams (Test, Product Design, Marketing)
Enabling shorter release cycles
Introducing and continuous improvement of engineering best practices
Implementation of policies and standards
Responsible for culture/ motivation/spirit within the team
Facilitating lean development
Bachelor/Master Degree in Information Technologies or related qualification
management experience (team lead, senior software developer, Scrum Master) in agile software development teams
Successful experience in implementing agile processes
Very strong communication, moderation and facilitation skills
Technical affinity paired with leadership and understanding of team work
Deep practical experience in modern dev practices /methods (BDD, TDD, pair-programming, code reviews, Unit Tests)
