Role Summary: This role, a Russian - based member of GE Global Operations Legal Shared Services team, will cover indirect sourcing and property& construction Legal activities. We are seeking an experienced Legal professional with strong knowledge of Commercial Law related to indirect sourcing contracts and Real Estate Law including Leases and Construction issues as well as primarily for the relevant organization in Russia and also on the CIS countries.
Essential Responsibilities: The role will be part of a Global Operations supply chain international legal team supporting both Properties and Indirect Sourcing team for the regions. The role will work closely with the GOS and GOP legal global team and the GE business units in the RUCIS region. Ability to work fluently in English & Russian is essential. Ability to work in other local languages will be a plus but is not essential. - Supply Chain commercial agreements, including IFM, MRO, Professional services, business process outsourcing, engineering consulting and development services, HR services, telecom and technology contracting (license agreements, SaaS agreements, all types of cloud, open source, hardware agreements, technology-related services agreements • Property agreements such as leasing, build to suit, construction, acquisitions, disposals • Template standardizations, localization, and digitization • Effectively support cross-functional teams through the RFI, RFP and other applicable property, or sourcing processes: including requirements definition, bid/negotiations, contract documentation and integration, ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained at each tollgate. • Develop and support negotiation with suppliers – including statements of work and underlying framework purchase, licensing and outsourcing and/or professional services agreements. • Maintain awareness of legal developments in the region, particularly new commercial and regulatory risks that may arise (including IT, privacy, cloud, real estate…) • Training to the in-house customers • Handle legal escalations during project design, negotiation, and implementation cycle. • Execute on special projects as required within the team • Support business cost reduction and simplification initiatives • Supervising outside counsel when necessary
Qualifications/Requirements: • Law legal degree with 3+ years of legal experience (in house and /or premier law firm) from accredited law school handling commercial matters with experience handling real estate and commercial legal matters. • Candidate must be fluent in Russian and English (written and spoken) • Knowledge of Fidic will be a plus
