Role Summary:
As the Peebles Control Console Tech., you will provide support in areas of engine and test cell hardware / software configuration under the leadership of appropriate staff or project personnel. Position will report to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday for 10 hour shifts.

Essential Responsibilities:

In this role you will :


  • Ensure that control room display of data and safety limit annunciation is correct and in accordance with test requirements
  • Participate in test planning efforts and support test in areas of the console, Fadec Monitoring System (FMS), Display Adjustment Panel (DAP) and Portable Data Loader (PDL) operation
  • Maintain required test cell and engine hardware / software documentation
  • Maintain effective communications with customers, support organizations, and team members
  • Investigate, diagnose and correct instrumentation and system malfunctions
  • Assist maintenance and engineering organizations in the maintenance and repair of test facilities

    Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree in technical discipline (or High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience)

    Desired Characteristics:

  • Proven leadership qualities and skills
  • Some experience with hardware / software of control consoles and associated equipment
  • Some knowledge of engine test facilities and associated equipment
