Role Summary: We are looking for Electrical Technicians to join the Gilboa Hydro Power Plant Operation and Maintenance team. As an Electrical Technician you will be responsible to execute Electrical related tasks and activities at the Hydro Station, under the supervision of the Lead Electrical Engineer.
Essential Responsibilities: Execute Electrical related maintenance activities according to the work plan, safety procedures and contractual obligations, including Low/High Voltage equipment checks and troubleshooting on Motors, Drives, Transformers, etc. You shall also be responsible for alerting the Lead Electrical Supervisor on any deviation from the instructions as issued in the applicable procedures and assist in reducing maintenance cost by efficient use of consumables, parts and tools and preventing their loss or damage.
Qualifications/Requirements: Recognised Electrical technical qualification. Licensed in Israel as at least Qualified Electrician [3x80A]. HV work experience. Knowledge of engineering practices, functions and processes involved in the operation and maintenance of an Industrial Facility. Ability to speak and communicate effectively in English and in Hebrew. Able to work night/weekends in case of emergencies.
