Role Summary: The Marketing Integration Manager is responsible for leading GE Digital’s M&A activities for the Marketing function. This will entail specific focus on the following areas: Marketing Innovations, Revenue Marketing, Event Marketing, Strategy and Ops and our Industry Solutions Group.
Develop a comprehensive view of existing operational practices across the new acquisitions
Develop an understanding of operations in existing GE organizations joining the new business
Develop a roadmap for functionalization of the organization and operationalization of new processes
Propose a structure for the newly acquired team across the marketing components
Analyze and propose improvements in marketing processes, methods, and tools
Engage in deals according to agreed priorities and ensure integration activities are planned, resourced and budgeted in the deal process
In strong partnership with BD team, provide integration insights during the due diligence process particularly focused on the marketing function.
Work with the extended business development team and business teams on the analysis, validation, execution, and tracking of synergies
Develop comprehensive and effective tools, templates and processes to plan and execute integrations
Continually review the entire deal process from DD to integration close for integration implications and best practices
Provide functional leadership to develop effective integration processes, tools and templates that business units can effectively utilize to integrate the Marketing arms of M&A targets
Collaborate, develop and execute integration concepts with business teams
Provide training to integration teams on integration planning and tools
Lead workshops and provide project management for integration post-close activities including cultural analysis, diligence validation, and synergy cross business collaboration
Develop and execute transition services for dispositions, collaborate with leaders on requirements and rights in the formation of joint ventures
Maintain and further develop integration portals and project management tools
Support in the development of integration snapshots and retrospectives to update BD and Business leaders on integration progress
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a discipline associated with the business
3 years running large change projects in complex organizations

MBA or advanced degree
Previous M&A experience
Minimum of 5 years of GE experience
Software services experience in the areas of Marketing.
Ability to work within a matrix organizational environment and to interact with executives
Strong familiarity with Office including the use of macros or VBA, and collaboration tools
Understanding and experience with corporate cultural analyses
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work successfully in a matrix environment
Significant experience and understanding of the end-to-end M&A transaction process including structuring and integration principles focused on value creation
Demonstrated team leadership skills
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem solving capability and capacity to influence
Ability to understand key value elements of a deal and how they relate to the P&L goals
Strong working knowledge of English language (oral and written)
