Role Summary: The Plant Manager demonstrates accountability for ensuring efficient, timely and cost effective manufacturing and delivery of high quality products, in a lean driven environment. The Plant Manager will drive the strategic planning of the organization, will foster a culture of continuous improvement and will develop strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
Essential Responsibilities: The Plant Manager will set the overall vision for the plant, lead change, drive execution and maintain a culture that prioritizes customer satisfaction, safety and the highest quality.
In the role of Plant Manager you will:
Direct all activities in the Shawnee plant to manufacture and deliver Pressure Control equipment to customers
Be responsible for all site and facility activities
Provide HSE leadership by driving 5S housekeeping, health & safety framework score improvement, training completion, audit item closure, and HSE culture
Drive on-time shipments to 95%+ and inventory to meet goals
Lead cost out deck execution to deliver plant cost / hour goals
Implement a cell-based organizational structure for the Shawnee factory and develop leadership and technical expertise
Promote the use of Shainin and six sigma methodology in driving plant quality improvements
Utilize, lead, and support lean manufacturing methods to reduce cycle times and inventory levels
