Role Summary:
Leads, coordinates and manages the execution of the marketing plan for the Nuclear Medicine product portfolio in the United States and Canada. Identifies opportunities for growth and share gain. Creates a regional product portfolio strategy including product positioning, current portfolio evolution, install base growth strategy and collaborates with global marketing on lifecycle management strategy. Provides input to the new product and solutions roadmap development.

Essential Responsibilities:
•Utilizes gold standard marketing practices and skills to develop and execute the marketing plan for a product portfolio
•Responsibilities include VOC gathering, marketing strategy development and collaboration, segmentation, targeting and positioning to align messaging, tactics, commercial channel tools and execution for success
•Employs market research, clinical and industry trend analysis, market share and competitive analysis, win/loss tracking and price realization in developing commercial strategy for a product portfolio
•Owns launch plans for new products in the region with appropriate product positioning, segment/region-specific value propositions and distribution strategies
•Key contributor to the product and region growth strategy and funding proposals with the goal of achieving growth and market share objectives
•Collaborates with sales and global marketing to develop the regional market forecast as well as the orders forecast for the market segment
•Understands customer’s clinical and economic needs, as well as values and benefits sought
•Prioritizes customer segments and business opportunities in conjunction with global product marketing and P&L leaders
•Ensures regional marketing plans & execution are aligned with global marketing plan (value proposition, positioning, marketing mix, etc.) to grow orders and share
•Responsible for all demand generation and awareness activities for a product/portfolio including trade shows, customer events, advertising, telemarketing campaigns, promotions
•Works with public relations to develop and execute marketing communication plans
•Responsible for capturing and reporting upon relevant metrics
•Develops programs to gather regional evidence of customer success, early adopters, show sites, and clinical evidence where appropriate
•Provides regional input to business cases for products/upgrades that are at concept stage, work horizontally to develop, test and prototype new product ideas
•Responsible for ensuring the local commercial organizations, such as Sales Specialists and Account Managers, have the right tools and training to sell and manage product configurations and portfolio effectively

Qualifications/Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
2. Minimum 8 years experience in marketing, product marketing or related field
3. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and shape/lead growth vision and marketing strategy
4. Strong influencing skills– ability to motivate individuals and demonstrate organizational influence
5. Excellent oral and written communications skills
6. Strong analytical and process skills

Desired Characteristics:
1. MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
2. 10+ years experience in marketing, product marketing or related field
3. Deep marketing expertise in market and customer insights, product commercialization and branding
4. Healthcare product/industry acumen
5. Peripheral vision to nurture creative ideas and innovation
6. Prior experience in a leadership role with direct reports
7. Innovation – develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas
8. Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
