Role Summary: You will work in lock-step with application or domain leaders acting as a product manager to create a clear strategic direction that will be delivered by the product development team. You will direct the team with a clear and descriptive set of requirements and deliver product features and functions by balancing customer need with business strategy, minimized defects, and technical debt.
Essential Responsibilities: Your priority is seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders including but not limited to: Customers, Process Owners, Enterprise Architects, Application Managers, Development teams and Technical Architects.
In this role, you will:
Work with cross-functional (process, design, build, test) teams to deliver features and products
Own the short-term product roadmap and it’s integration into a larger application or strategic roadmap
Engage continuously with customers and stakeholders to understand their business goals and motivating factors
Demonstrate ability to influence customers and product managers through credible knowledge and experience, persuasion and influencing skills
Lead customer and stakeholder interviews to align product design with roles (personas)
Own the product backlog; continuously groom and ensure that an agreed scope is always ready to move into development
Lead the product development team; facilitate discussions, provide clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; owner of functional or technical product design
Understand and follow the proscribed governance process and development methodology for product development
Translate unstructured or ambiguous requests into actionable user stories and work units through problem decomposition and planning
Demonstrate substantial experience with the technology stack and its impact on the final product
Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in SAP ERP Sales & Distribution OR Master’s degree with 3 years of experience in SAP ERP Sales & Distribution.

Hands on SAP SD configuration experience in at least two full end-to-end SAP ERP implementations.
Solid understanding of the integration of SD with other modules (e.g. PS, FI-CO, MM, PP etc.) and preferably experience with configuring and implementing at least one of these.
Hands on experience of designing and implementing enhancements to standard SAP functionality in the form of user-exits / enhancements, custom reports, pricing routines etc.
Significant work experience in integrating SAP ERP with multiple legacy systems and third party applications (e.g. sales and marketing applications such as Salesforce.com).
Experience with SAP BW/BI is a plus, as is experience with integrating Master Data Management applications with SAP ERP.
Functional business experience and understanding of the end-to-end Inquiry-to-Cash process, including quotation management, order management, shipping and transportation, pricing, billing etc.
Experience in a project driven heavy equipment manufacturing industry
Experience with global ERP implementations and roll-outs and working with globally dispersed, culturally diverse teams.
Experience of the full systems development lifecycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, performance tuning, documentation and implementation.
Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe.
Ability to take ownership of medium sized or incompletely defined tasks.
Ability to bridge communication between business and technical areas and guide business stakeholders towards the optimal technical solution.
