Role Summary: Plan, schedule, and expedite material flow internally and externally to support Site Production Plan. Large activity around properly planning material needs. Requires experience and understanding of supply chain principals, and a developed and strong foundation of functional skills.
Essential Responsibilities: In the role of Lead Projects Planning Specialist you will:
Uphold all company policies.
Work within the Oracle/SAP ERP system to maintain or exceed On Time Delivery targets
Maintain a consistent sales order backlog at less than 10% past due
Set production plan, including forecasting spare parts demand
Effectively partner with buyers to meet or exceed delivery and inventory metrics
Supervise all cycle counts for areas of responsibility
Collaborate with production associates to reconcile inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy above 98%
Perform all other duties as assigned including mitigating inventory obsolescence
Set production plan for Engineer-to-Order (ETO) projects. Run cross functional meetings related to project orders
Work with outside calibration houses to meet production schedule
Lead the shipping shop operations team of eight employees. Provide guidance to meet business objectives and work to provide a safe work environment
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Computer skills including, excel, Oracle and SAP
APICS experience preferred
Strong communication skills
