Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Labour Relations Manager (LRM) with interest in collaborating with Total rewards and being engaged in HR (project) management. You are the owner and coordinator of the all tariff related actions and Union relationships in all legal entities falling in under BHGE Norway. In addition you are a key player for collaboration with Total rewards team - discussions / projects and HRM for client groups as defined by Nordic HR Leader.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Know, manage and follow changes in local and central collective agreements
  • Identify, define and suggest – and once approved: implement – changes between BHGE legal entities always looking after BHGE`s best interest short and long term
  • Negotiate and implement improvements and changes – both local, regional and global initiatives – always ensuring the total BHGE interests are taken care of across legal entities, this includes roll out and communicate global C&B policies and processes
  • Responsible for coordinating union and company working groups – including organizing/ plan and lead regular rhythm for cooperation-meetings with all Unions in all legal entities sharing relevant data to optimize aligned business understanding
  • Tie in with local business leaders to understand their need and optimize local agreements to meet business need
  • HR representatives in AMU/ BU all legal entities
  • Responsible for planning and execution of local salary negotiations as agreed with Nordic HR- and Local Business Leader
  • Updating people leaders, HRMs and employees on any relevant tariff questions / local benefit discussions as required
  • On regular basis brief Nordic HR Leader and other relevant leaders on status within own responsibilities to drive the right focus, attention, priorities and awareness
  • Own and coordinate relationship to “Norsk Olje & Gas”, Labor relation activity
  • Act as HRM (see separate JD) for client groups as defined by Nordic HRM – Currently (Q4-17); OFS Logistics, WLS, UPC (subject to change)
  • Lead, coordinate and participate on projects as defined by Nordic HR Leader


Qualifications/Requirements:
  • The working language in the negotiations committees and committee for employer policy (APU) is Norwegian, hence a requirement to be fluent in Norwegian.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a related discipline in which business knowledge and understanding of human resource practices are gained
  • Significant experience in Norwegian labour law and collective agreements
  • Business acumen – preferably including proven successful experience working in a complex, global matrix organization
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Interest and experience in Compensation & Benefits
  • Skills in data management, including Excel calculations
  • Analytical and good with numbers
  • Project management experience
  • Proficiency in English
  • An interest in and understanding of HR work transforming towards global centers of excellence in combination with a stronger business focus
