Role Summary: Work on Chemical Coating Development Lab activities in TTC such as coating/painting of metallic test panels, performing corrosion tests, performing metallographic evaluation of test panels, etc.
Essential Responsibilities: • Manage needed processes for testing plan such us shipment of test samples/chemicals, creation of purchase order by following up proper TTC procedures. • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and / or tasks consistent with Engineering policies and procedures • Communicate and present technical results, project status, business issues, and significant developments to project manager • Formulate and implement the plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules, and contract commitments • Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to problems
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor's degree from relevant departments of universities (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, etc.) or Vocational School of Technical Sciences (Chemistry, Metal Technology, etc.) • 5 years experience on Metallic materials evaluation laboratory • Eager to work in laboratory and research and development activities • Experienced on corrosion preventive coating processes used in Aviation or Automotive Industry such as painting, plating, anodizing, etc. • Capable to perform test/analysis with ICP,IC, GC, EIS, Salt Spray Test, optical microscope, etc. • Capable to prepare a sample for metallographic evaluation and evaluate results • Fast in action but with detailed technical review and good documentation • Strong team work and communication skills, eager to learn continuously • Completed military service for male applicants • Proficiency in MS Office
Desired Characteristics: • Proven self-starter and independent worker who can work with cross-functional teams • Ability to communicate in writing and orally in English • Familiarity with REACh regulation and quality systems • Experience with and knowledge of surface related phenomena, aviation chemicals and qualification testing • Having certification of spray painting operations
