Role Summary: To accelerate the strategic O&G product security program, the Sr Staff Product Security Leader will develop, drive, and implement key initiatives. He/she will be a key technical resource who provides guidance and insight into security techniques, architectures, tools to GE Oil & Gas P&Ls and customers.
Essential Responsibilities: In the role of Sr Staff Product Security Leader, you will:
Devise and drive adoption of security tools and techniques as part of the Secure Development Lifecycle process
Provide direction and guidance on security techniques to a broad base of development, architecture, and system integration teams
Provide insight as to threat landscape and mitigations of ICS environments
Prepare and deliver demos and technical training on cyber security techniques and tools
Provide guidance about security risks and mitigations of cloud and virtualized environments
Communicate with management, senior leaders, teams and technical personnel on a continuous basis
Be a key resource for product teams to review, identify gaps and provide input on proposed customer solutions
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other related technical / IT field from an accredited college or university
Minimum 10 years of technical/Engineering/IT field experience
Knowledge of ICS systems architecture and components (HMI, Historians, PLCs etc.), associated services, as well as typical attack vectors and mitigations
Knowledge of network and application security architectures and tools
Experience with GE cloud services platform (Predix)
Experience of typical industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC etc.) from security standpoint
Experience with secure architectures, identity and access management principles, application security, encryption technologies, DNS, SOA, database and web applications
Working knowledge of security services including PKI, TLS, authentication services,
Good software skills on at least one of Python, Java, Ruby, Shell scripting, Android, iOS.
Good communication skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of an organization
Highest level of integrity and professionalism
Willing to stay updated and be hands-on in technical and fast-evolving technology areas
Knowledge of cloud services platforms (AWS, Azure)
Experience of GE products (MkVie, Rx3i, BN3500, Opshield etc.) and industrial protocols (EGD, Pointbridge, etc.)
Knowledge of embedded devices security threats and countermeasures
Knowledge of mobile technologies security threats and mitigations
Knowledge of IoT architectures and security threats and mitigations
Ability to work well in a dynamic fast-paced team environment, building credibility
Ability to think "outside the box" when developing solutions and creating value
Resourceful and quick learner; able to efficiently seek out, learn, & apply new areas of expertise as needed
