Role Summary: Works projects in a technical domain as a technical expert or internal consultant. Works on projects for components of the domain. Works across one technical or functional domains. Participates in the data domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction.
Essential Responsibilities: Assists in the analysis, design and development of a roadmap, design pattern, and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint. Gathers and analyzes data and develops architectural requirements at project level. Participates in the Data Governance Council. Participates in development of software, data and technology platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses. Researches and evaluates emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities. Participates in cyber product research. Participates on agile teams helping implement cyber security controls.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or other technical / IT field, OR relevant IT work experience
Profound experience with Hadoop, hive, java, spark and Hadoop echosystem
Strong Functional & Technical knowledge of iProcurement, Purchasing, Accounts Payables, General Ledger and Cash Management, Human Resource modules
Significant experience in ERP Development, Testing, Implementations including interfaces, coding techniques, functions, stored procedures etc.
Strong database experience with OLTP, OLAP data models, developing and debugging PL/SQL and Greenplum/PostgreSQL
Prior exposure to Technologies like Hadoop, Greenplum, Talend, RDBMS, Data Warehousing, Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Integration
Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities
Strong team player collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
Demonstrated customer focus valuates decisions through the eyes of the customer; builds strong customer relationships and creates processes with customer viewpoint
Strong analytical skills strong problem solving skills, communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve
