Role Summary: Perform identified duties for assigned components, assemblies and/or systems in a multifunctional team environment. Help the Applications Engineering and CM&U teams to analyze data from information downloaded from wind parks, execute the process, coordinate and support the required programs
Essential Responsibilities: Execute with guidance the analysis, design, test and/or integration required to define and support the assigned components, assemblies and/or systems that meet the business standards, practices and procedures of the program. Work with the guidelines of applicable GE Policies and Procedures, Engineering Standards, Design Customer Operating Procedures, Specifications and special security requirements if needed. Develop technical capabilities concurrent with the execution of the responsibilities of the position. Document technical data that is generated to substantiate the assigned components, assemblies and/or systems and that is consistent with engineering policies and procedures. Provide timely communication on significant issues or developments Participate as presenter in internal technical reviews if needed Support the solution of problems of limited scope and complexity Self-check of work Help the team to improve the productivity using automation tools when applicable. Demonstrate solid technical capability and willingness to learn
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related Engineering from an accredited college or university. Sound understanding of engineering principles relevant to position Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish
Desired Characteristics: Knowledge of Wind technology and the levers available to improve performance in an aftermarket setting. Demonstrated ability to meet goals and objectives Proven strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization Proven success working with external customers, including the ability to find customer value and help the Sales team win deals Programming skills in languages such as VB, R or C/C++ Strong Oral and written communication skills
