Baker Hughes, a GE company has a 3rd Shift opening for a C.V. Extrusion Operator, Lead Extrusion Operator, Armor Operator, and Cabler Splicer at our E.L. Anderson facility in Claremore, OK. This person will be responsible for 6S, manufacturing process within their departments, following procedures and HRA’s, and maintaining the safety culture. This person performs their own setups and are responsible for all quality checks.
Under direct supervision, setup, monitor and operate various equipment associated within the manufacturing facility. This may include; C.V., Lead, Armor, and Splice.
Works in support of the Manufacturing Plant and processes within the area
May operate multiple machines at a time
Gathers physical properties of the cable, ie, wall thickness and dimensional data
Performs quality assurance duties as specified by ISO requirements.
High school diploma or GED equivalent
1+ years’ related experience
Ability to follow detailed instructions, both written and verbal
Ability to operate reel moving equipment and crane
Use of general hand tools
Use of general measuring tools, ie, micrometer, dial caliper, pin gauge
Good mechanical aptitude
Must be able to work night shift
Basic computer skills is a plus
Ability to work alone
