Baker Hughes, a GE company has an Account Representative Position open for the New Orleans, LA area. In this role the successful candidate will communicate with customer management and direct representative that cover chemical application programs. Also assist with the development of short and long range sales goals. This position is also responsible for developing the personnel assigned to the account for technical and sale development while handling special projects, as assigned.
Manage existing refinery chemical business for a specified geographic area
Identify and close new sales growth opportunities
Oversee activities of sales personnel
Interfaces across the internal organization
Builds strong relationships with key customers
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Biology
5+ years of field experience working in a refinery
Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and waste water treatment systems
Be able to obtain a TWIC card
Excellent communication skills
Excellent negotiating skills
Expertise in sales and marketing
Fundamental knowledge of commercial and contract language
Degree in engineering, physics, or chemistry
Strong at building customer relationships
Experience with sales and services of WWTP, Boilers, and Cooling Towers
