Role Summary:
To collaborate on projects with our customers and/or develop commercial applications. Develop and sustain Reference Sites/ Luminaries'collaborations. Provide application support to sales teams and coordinate Advanced Application team to report (clinical) studies and create selling tools. Interface between Product, commercial marketing and advanced applications to integrate product roadmap requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the definition, design and refinement of Xcellerex products and services to address customer needs
  • Develop competition intelligence to support the commercial team with counter arguments and selling advantages
  • Plan, conduct and report customer related application projects
  • Communicate customer feedback to central and Product teams for pilots and NPIs, transfer (application) expertise into training material for commercial team use
  • Establish and maintain close contacts and collaboration with external customers (directly and through sales organization) to build a network of high profile customers by developing advanced applications with them and create or sustain Reference sites
  • Participate in Industry meetings to build application roadmap and provide input into NPI process
  • Assist with the reporting of data at scientific congresses, customer seminars and internal training events
  • Identify any opportunities to use results of process development projects in sales situations or marketing materials. Facilitate and support the transfer of this information into the corresponding marketing and product management teams
  • Provide product support to sales, marketing and demonstration teams
  • Assist with customer engagements, user groups, advisory boards and other market related activities to assist in the collection, definition and validation of market needs and requirements

BSc in a relevant scientific or clinical degree, or hospital registrations:
  • Highly qualified in bioprocessing applications
  • Strong experience in Biopharmaceutical industry
  • Significant experoence in Commercial Sales
  • Experience in communicating scientific data (talks, posters, papers)

Quality Specific Goals:
  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
  • Lead quality: improve product reliability, implement and operationalize the QMS, zero enforcement actions through effective QMS management and inspection readiness
  • Establish a commitment to quality and communicate the importance of meeting statutory, regulatory and customer requirements. Ensure quality policy is understood, implemented and maintained at all levels of the organization. Establish and communicate quality objectives that are measurable and consistent with the quality policy
  • Maintain adequate organizational structures and adequate resources of sufficiently trained personnel. Ensure qualified personnel relative to assigned responsibilities. Ensure appropriate responsibility, independence and authority of all personnel who manage, perform and assess work affecting quality

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Engineering, Science, Business Administration or other related field
  • Significant experience in product marketing, product development, or related field
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Strong analytical and process skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment

Desired Characteristics:
  • Master’s degree in a relevant scientific or clinical discipline preferred
  • Solid problem solving skills (ability to manage and resolve conflict, communicate issues and propose solutions to both internal team members and external customers)
  • Proven professional business acumen (experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process)
  • Self-motivated, willingness to take the initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and take actions to improve
  • Demonstrated success establishing good relationships with customers and internal stakeholders and building wide and effective networks of contacts inside and outside the organization. Relates well to people at all levels
  • Experience applying specialist and detailed technical expertise as well as development of job knowledge and expertise through continual professional development. Shares expertise and knowledge with others to raise the skill set within the overall organization
  • Teaching ability: present complex material/ techniques in comprehensible terms, present a professional image
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Creative, flexible and well-organized
  • Team player
