Role Summary: This role requires the individual to manage their own Sales Territory (East Coast) for Asset Condition Monitoring (Bently Nevada)
Essential Responsibilities: • The successful applicant will maintain responsibility for discovery, advocating and closing of sales opportunities involving Asset Condition Monitoring, Diagnostics and Performance Optimization (Bently Nevada Product line) to EPC firms and end user customers in assigned territory. • Responsible for a predefined dollar amount of orders, sales, and contribution margin for a given territory/customer base • Assists in proposal preparation and delivery, provides technical information and process other customer requests for information • Work effectively with Digital Solution (DS)Global Projects Team to develop/scope/close large project orders • Communicate proactively and work as a team effectively with Sales Managers in other regions to maximize scope in cross-regional projects • Engage with local GE-Power Services (PS) team to engage/promote/sell the GE-PS portfolio to accounts • Owns orders OP for the entire DS Condition Monitoring (Bently Nevada), portfolio for the allocated region. • Drives aggressive growth targets in all DS market segments, for Condition Monitoring (Bently Nevada), metric targets will address volume, mix (penetration) and timing. • Meet or exceed operational requirements: analytical reporting, operating reviews, cost and past dues. • Build customer relationships for the purpose of Business development and Sales. Develop customer strategies, campaigns plans and leadership in their execution. • Knowledge of key customers internal decision making (especially in PG and Oil & Gas industries) • Integrate information, resources, and activities within the region and/or amongst region peers, global regions and company’s headquarters. • Customer satisfaction evaluation, plans, and follow-ups. • Demonstrate commercial and technical expertise in specific market segment and region. • Drive DS strategy and growth initiatives within the region.
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. • 5+ years of experience in industry-related sales, application engineering and/or services.
Desired Characteristics: • Commercial sales experience in closing large and complex contracts. • Experience running CRM such as Deal Machine • Excellent interpersonal skills. • Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs. • Proven coordination and influencing skills, especially in a cross functional and highly matrixed environment. • Knowledge of customer financial drivers/needs. • Able to effectively lead and energize a multi-functional team to meet sales plan. • Demonstrated ability to apply Six Sigma to improve customer satisfaction; GB certification desired (GE employees only). • High proficiency in utilizing analytical software and sales tools (Sales Force Dot Com, Sap, Excel, etc.). • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. • Self-motivated. • Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred.
