Role Summary: The Europe Finance Reporting Analyst is responsible for running financial tools & processes enabling the accurate and relevant reporting of the Europe GEHC results.
The Europe Finance Reporting Analyst will initially spend a significant part of his/her time supporting the Europe Ultrasound product line through dedicated actuals reporting and analysis processes as well as estimates processes.
The Europe Finance Reporting Analyst will also support key pan-European reporting processes leveraged by the GEHC Europe leadership team to efficiently drive its operations.
The Europe Finance Reporting Analyst will also be asked to contribute to the design and implementation of the GEHC Europe next gen reporting.
Duties include (but are not limited to): • Weekly consolidation of Ultrasound Orders & Sales estimates • Quarterly support to the Ultrasound close process • Quarterly reporting of Ultrasound actuals to Europe and GEHC HQ • Annual support to the Ultrasound budget process • Weekly reporting of Europe Orders & Sales actuals • Quarterly support to the Europe GEHC close process • Quarterly reporting of Europe GEHC actuals • Understand systems (ERP, BI tools, …) and reporting dynamics to highlight improvement opportunities • Design and implement next generation tools
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration and some financial work experience.
Experience with financial systems/applications such as Oracle, Essbase, COGNOS, Hyperion, Business Objects, etc.
Strong Excel & Access skills in data compilation and aggregation
Fluent in English
Experience working in a Global business environment with sound understanding of global processes and transactional flows
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner
Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodologies such as LEAN or Six Sigma
Clear thinking/problem solving: successfully led projects/process improvements within operations/finance functions; able to quickly grasp new ideas
Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations
Confidence/Assertiveness: strong influencing skills across business functions
Experience working in a matrix environment
Integrity: accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others
