Role Summary: The Document Control Specialist will be responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. In this role, you will follow an individual work plan, meet day to-day short-term objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
Essential Responsibilities: The Document Control Specialist works with quality, engineering, manufacturing and materials functions in order to meet assigned objectives. In this role, you will work within defined parameters to make decisions and apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity. This role has the ability to resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
In the role of Document Control Specialist, you will:
Review contracts and purchase orders to determine customer and or regulatory documentation requirements
Compile and assemble documentation required for projects and orders per quality work instructions.
Review material test reports, weld rod certifications, NDE reports, heat treat reports and other related documentation for compliance with purchase order, and regulatory requirements (ie ASME, PED, API)
Maintain files necessary to provide records required to process orders in accordance with procedures, instructions, customer and agency requirements
High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution
Minimum 2 years of document management and/or manufacturing and/ or quality experience
Multitask, organize, and prioritize on a daily basis
Handle business sensitive and confidential information
Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required
Consistently meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
Demonstrated commitment for process improvement
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high energy environment
