Role Summary:
The role of the Explosives Coordinator is to own explosive inventory to regulatory compliance. The role will report to the Pleasanton Operations Leader.

Essential Responsibilities:
In the role of Explosives Coordinator, you will:

  • Be responsible for all Explosives Inventory Transactions
  • Have 100% accuracy and traceability on all explosives
  • Report accurate consumed explosives inventory to finance
  • Be responsible for ATF and Dot audits regarding explosives inventory
  • Complete appropriate transactional regulatory and BHGE paperwork to maintain compliance and traceability

    Qualifications/Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED from an accredited school or institution
  • Minimum 3 Years in a role responsible for ATF and DoT compliance around explosives
  • Minimum 2 Years of Wireline experience

    Eligibility Requirements:

  • Receive and maintain clearance to operate explosive material with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (BATF)
  • Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required
  • Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities
  • Be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required
  • Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Be subjected to extreme heat for extended periods of time

    Desired Characteristics:
  • Working knowledge of Explosives regulations, including RP67, and DoT regulations
  • Familiarity with inventory transactions
  • Good working knowledge of ATF explosive documents
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft office; specifically Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Critical thinking skills

  • Root Cause Analysis Experience
  • Excellent Communications Skills
