Role Summary: The incumbent is required to establish and maintain customer relationship and provides sales leadership in order to achieve and exceed orders and margin objectives; integrate and develop processes, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, that meet business needs across the organization and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Essential Responsibilities: •Owns sales operating plan for Software Solutions products such as energy management system, distribution management system and geospatial information system. •Provide S1/S2 inputs to Sales Leader and operationally work with team to meet quarterly targets. •Establish and maintain customer relationship inclusive of C-level and build accountability. •Provide sales leadership to co-ordinate, support and motivate Independent Third Parties in meeting yearly sales target. Review key initiatives to increase channels effectiveness. •Conduct product training and application support to system integrators, consultants and end users. •Develop strategic plans to pursue key deals. Identify both internal and customer CTQs. Proactively educates and influence customer business decisions using practical solutions to drive results. •Supervise all stages of proposal, bidding and negotiation; then lead team to close deals. •Team with others in Sales and Technical Application in leveraging customer relationship and leads. •Understand market dynamics, trends and competition. Provide feedback in order to guide product, promotions, price and go-to market strategies.
Qualifications/Requirements: •Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent discipline. •7-10 years experience in Sales or Marketing with successful track record. •Strong knowledge in software for utilities, industrial and telecommunications applications. •Good exposure to energy, industrial, and telecommunications markets. •Excellent communication and presentation skills. •Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on relationships/team building. Must be a team builder and team player. •Customer orientated. Growth mindset. •Proactive work style, creativity, energetic, self-motivator who keeps current with industry trends and knowledge. •Excellent negotiating and closing skills. •Unyielding commitment to integrity and GE Beliefs.
