Role Summary:
The Senior Consultant, Analytics is responsible for design and delivery of productivity solutions for GE’s healthcare clients. Analytics Consulting is an exciting discipline combining traditional consulting with analytics disciplines such as data science, statistics, simulation and predictive modeling.

Essential Responsibilities:

Engagements follow a problem back approach, leveraging interviews and data mining to align clients around high-value problem statements, then designing targeted solutions to improve performance. Project types include designing efficient healthcare facilities, reconfiguring existing capacity for patient throughput and experience, improving health system utilization and implement real-time analytics in command centers to dynamically optimize coordination of patient care.

The Senior Consultant, Analytics will work with clients and multi-disciplinary consulting teams and will possess strong analytical skills, a structured approach to problem solving and experience with process improvement and statistical analysis. In addition, the Senior Consultant, Analytics must be a self-starter with a demonstrated ability to lead teams. The career path for Analytics Consultants grows from delivering analytics to leading projects and eventually managing clients. The ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and lead change is a must.

Up to 80% travel is required, primarily in UK, Ireland and Europe. There may be additional opportunities to work on projects in US, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Australia and the elsewhere.


• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Electrical Engineering, Math or Statistics or related discipline, graduate degree is a plus or equivalent
• Experience in consulting services, outcome based process improvement, change management
• Healthcare experience
• Commercial awareness
• Formal problem solving, logic
• Experience with analytic techniques: regression analysis, simulation modeling, timeseries forecasting, hypothesis testing using R, SAS or similar software
• Experience programming in Java, C# or similar production level language applied to data management, algorithms and automation
• Data management in SQL or Oracle, understanding of Data Mining principles and strategies
• Hands on experience with data visualization and dashboard development in Tableau, Qlik or similar
• Excellent communication skills, teamwork, lead other teams
