Role Summary:
The Hydro Digital Program Manager will be responsible for driving the NPI (New Product Introduction) programs related to the Asset optimization including Condition Monitoring products and services for Digital in Hydro worldwide. T

Essential Responsibilities:

  • This position will work closely with Digital Product manager, Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain and Project Office, and within General Electric Renewables digital and GE Hydro. His main target will be to increase Hydro’s market shares on most profitable market segments.

  • Understand the
    information provided on market analysis
    and strategy (Strategic Marketing / Product Management / Portfolio
    continuous assessment,…) being able to translate it into Product/Service
    specifications
  • Ensures the NPI
    process approach is applied to all programs under his/her responsibility .
  • Kicks-off program and
    develops integrated execution plan with required functions (Engineering,
    Sourcing, Services, etc) to ensure key deliverables are provided on time and on
    budget .
  • Leads program review
    and status meetings, coordinates project scope, schedule, resource and budgets
    in close relationship with the Engineering System Digital Integrator




Qualifications/Requirements:

* Reports on program status and risk at regular intervals

* Flows down Product/Service requirements and identifies system and subsystem requirements.

* Ensure for the concerned System the integration and the coherence of the sub-system Condition Monitoring System developments including the Asset optimization softwares with the Predix platform, the RAMS (Reliability Availability Maintenabilty Safety) datas, the cybersecurity and GE Store

* Supports Technical Tendering in understanding the digital offering

* Ensures alignment with standards specifications and costs at the right time in the Tendering process, and validates feasibility and relevance of potential deviations.

* Leads and facilitates a continuous Platform Feedback of Experience process for the System, both for the Tendering and Execution phases, to continuously monitor the adequacy of the solutions provided by the Platform to its internal customers to effectively meet the targets of market share and profitability.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Project management – certification is a plus
  • Master’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • 4 years’ experience in Product management
  • Experience in the Renewables industry and/or in Digital preferred
  • Fluent English is required.
  • Pro-activeness, sense of urgency, autonomy; ability to interact with digital and Hydro leadership team
  • Strong analytical & critical thinking skills; strong communicator… ability to translate insights into clear strategic recommendations; experience in customer relationship management
  • Creative and innovative thinking – able to bring new ideas to provoke the business
  • Leader & problem-solver … ability to identify trends & opportunities, lead cross-functional projects, drive outcomes & solve business challenges
  • Team-player … positive & engaged contributor to the team, willingness to learn & adapt to business needs
  • Ability to travel regularly
