Role Summary:
Responsible for wing-to-wing execution of technical projects to deliver high quality outcomes to internal & external customers. Partners at a strategic level with functional product owner to define features backlog & requirements. Works with technical team internal and external to the initiative to ensure outcomes delivery on time, within scope, budget, & quality. Work on multiple projects impacting a single domain.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for designing a large service or integration of services.
  • Works independently & contributes to the immediate team and to other teams across business. Leads design discussion in a limited manner.
  • Expert in breaking down problems and estimate time for deployment tasks.
  • Skilled in providing oversight and mentoring team members.
  • Shows ability to effectively delegate work.
  • Demonstrates the ability to make informed technology choices after due diligence and impact assessment.
  • Understands whole enterprise solution or service, its components and the interrelationship between them while being an expert in the assigned capability.
  • Helps in designing interfaces and information exchange between service components.
  • Possesses advanced domain knowledge and shows great customer focus.
  • Demonstrates clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions.
  • Expert in processes/methodologies and skilled in build, release & deployment processes.
  • Defines his or her own role in the delivery of the product/service design.
  • Articulates the need for scalability and understands the importance of improving quality through testing.
  • Drives design reviews, defines interfaces between components, and applies existing technology to designs.
  • Expert in designing programmatic capabilities for all aspects of service operability.
  • Expert in assessing application or service performance and optimizing/improving it through design and best practices.
  • Expert in core data structures and interfaces for information exchange across platforms.
  • Understands capability of enterprise solutions in order to make sound decisions around configuring software vs engineering software.
  • Understanding of business process to determine how to optimize both process and utilization of enterprise applications.
  • Work with our Global Operations Properties clients to partner with them, understand their needs and help provide the strategy for their tools & processes
  • Responsible for all areas of application development and be expected work with an offshore team in all facets of the software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time, ensuring deadlines are met while driving best practices.
  • Driving the operations of the applications you support to reduce defects, handle outages and to eventually eliminate all time spent on support to focus on new projects/challenges.
  • Responsible for staying current in technologies that the Global Operations Properties groups can leverage in their day to day activities.
  • Understanding of vendor management, sourcing, web based applications and operational support.
  • Willingness to become the expert in these tools to provide the best customer experience and training for the clients.


    Basic Qualifications

  • BS in Information Sciences, Computer Science, or other related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience delivering/supporting large-scale implementations project with integrations to multiple applications.

    Desired Characteristics:
  • Experience working with web applications such as Java, PHP, Python, JQueryUI, Ajax, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent analytical skills – strong problem solving skills, communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve.
  • Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer; builds strong customer relationships and creates processes with customer viewpoint.
  • Proven ability to execute high-profile projects and to provide thought leadership to the organization.
  • Experience with Service-oriented architectures.
  • Experience with Financial Systems and SOX.
  • Proven track record of finding and utilizing new technologies/tools to solve complex businesses problems.
  • Excellent team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources.
  • Understanding of database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL or equivalent.
  • Change oriented – actively generates process improvements; supports and drives change, and confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways.
  • Excellent track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities.
