Role Summary: Responsible for designing, developing and testing software to create industrial internet products and services tailored to the needs of the GE businesses and external customers. Positions requiring understanding of a concepts, methods and procedures (technical Bachelor’s Degree).
Essential Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be • Responsible to run/lead engineering software development projects with minimum supervision and/or customer interface • Provide regular feedback to customer and leadership team and interact regularly with GE sites worldwide to resolve project related issues. • Located at GE Marmara Technology Center, Gebze - Kocaeli
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related disciplines • Minimum 2 years of experience with multiple non-linear FEA analysis types, e.g. plastic, visco-plastic, contacts, large deformation, adaptive meshing, dynamic analyses, coupling with other physics • Experience with a CAD package and a meshing software (UG/NX, Hyperworks, etc.) • Experience in ANSYS APDL and/or other FEA packages • Experience with at least one programming language (Python, FORTRAN, Bash scripting, C++) highly desirable • Fluent in English (both verbal & written) • Excellent communication & teamwork skills
Desired Characteristics: • MSc and/or PhD Degree in Computational Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related disciplines • Experience in structural design of composite components • An understanding of materials mechanical behavior and models is a plus #DTR
