Role Summary: The SAP Delivery Leader – Services & Time Management will partner with the implementation and delivery teams and will be responsible for the coordination of the architecture and delivering of world class technical designs leveraging industry standard processes & SAP ERP. Specializing in Global SAP implementations, new technology introduction, project management, people management activities, training, hands on configuration activities, application of methodologies and practices
The SAP Delivery Leader – Services & Time Management will:
Responsible for leading technical solution design of the SAP systems for Power Services business
A strategic thinker from a solid technical background, experiences in IT Solution, Application and a solid record of Delivery implementations across a wide range of disciplines
Understands the complexity and nuances in various phases of SAP projects with industry specific issues through an ITIL view
Perform as Technical Leader with Power ERP COE, driving the common global standards, design and build using enterprise standard systems.
Focus will be to provide strategies to lay the ground work for common solutions across multiple business work streams and provide governance processes
Have the ability to understand business requirements & requisite processes to enable translation to software requirements, as well as to demonstrate & influence business partners to leverage industry standard processes & out-of-the-box configuration capabilities in SAP (and necessary bolt-ons) to satisfy business needs
Come up with the governance strategy to manage the acquired results of analysis and workflows as well as obtain sign-off from the appropriate business partners and/or project teams
Perform as Technical leader to come up with a common solution and design for multiple business work streams; proactively wear multiple hats to assist the overall project team as needed during different phases of the program; work across hard line reporting relationships to ensure success of the team
Partner with data conversion team members as necessary, defining requirements and designs for legacy migrations
Manage change requests related to the working project plans daily to meet the agreed deadlines
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver features and major, complex products
Own the short-term roadmap for MVPs and quarterly releases
Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs
Demonstrate expert level skill in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity
Engage frequently (80%) with the development team; facilitate discussions, provide clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; contributes to design activities and decisions
Own and manage the backlog; continuously order and prioritize to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready
Routinely collaborate with UX, Architecture and engineering teams on multiple issues and decisions
Conduct customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborate on personas
Partner with the Service Owner to ensure healthy development process
Be regarded as an expert in Agile Methodology; translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units through problem decomposition and planning
Demonstrate superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager and engineering team
Demonstrate superior product and industry knowledge and helps organization gain the competitive edge
Mentor junior team members; provide technical leadership to TPMs across organization
Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
A minimum of 12 years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across disciplines and functions within a product OR Master’s degree with 8 years of experience OR PhD with 5 years of experience.
Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time, as required

Experience with global template deployment, implementation and integrations with multiple SAP modules such as PS, SD, FICO, CATS, MM, etc.
Well-versed in ASAP implementation methodology, in managing all aspects of solution delivery both as hands on functional expert and also as a team lead/manager.
Good understanding of existing and emerging technologies in SAP and non-SAP space in the areas of Web Development, Cloud, In-memory Databases, Integration, Infrastructure and Security.
Experience working in Water-Fall as well as Agile engineering environment
