Role Summary:
As SAP Technical Delivery Hub Lead within SAP COE, you will be responsible for leading overall application development and integration activities in the hub collaborating with other delivery hubs, vendor technical delivery teams. You will build partnership with delivery leaders across business streams in addition to GE Digital, Shared Services, Power Technology groups managing technical delivery scope.

Essential Responsibilities:

As the SAP Technical Delivery Hub Lead you will:

  • Lead and coordinate the technical delivery team in the hub supporting Delivery business stream leaders.
  • Engage in overall project scope, planning and end to end technical delivery.
  • Manage the team of SAP technical solution architects, SAP PI Integration architects driving the common global standards, solution design for multiple business streams.
  • Have the ability to understand business requirements & requisite processes to enable translation to software requirements, as well as to demonstrate & influence business partners to leverage industry standard processes & out-of-the-box solution capabilities in SAP to satisfy business needs
  • Responsible for Quality assurance of deliverables, Transport / Release Management, Documentation, Status tracking, KPI.
  • Drive agile methodology, governance, process throughout the delivery phase.
  • Coordinate with offshore and other hubs technical teams across projects.
  • Responsible for delivering highly available services through entirely automated processes. Has the vision to integrate it across multiple systems. Understands upstream and downstream data considerations and ensures continuity of Digital Thread.
  • Works independently and is seen as a technical leader. Is responsible for driving the design and development efforts related to architecture, scalability, availability and performance in alignment with the product/service roadmap. Proven track record of successful problem definition, decomposition, estimation. Provides expertise in design, architecture, delivery and optimization.
  • Leads impact assessment and decision related to technology choices, design/architectural considerations and implementation strategy. Expert in providing oversight, mentoring team members and leading large delivery efforts. Experienced in effectively delegating work. Deep understanding of the market and competing 3rd party product offerings. Demonstrates the ability of benchmarking against competition.
  • Strives for technology updates, coach and mentor the team.




Qualifications/Requirements:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent knowledge/experience
  • A minimum of 6-7 years of relevant experience Implementing and supporting SAP ECC with specialism in one or more components such as BI, Business Objects, PI, Portal, SRM, CRM, BPM, and MDM; Specializing in the solution design, planning, support and deployment of global SAP implementations.

    • Strong background assisting in technical solution architectural design, planning and managing SAP technical delivery
    • Expert level SAP skills in building value proposition with total customer focus. Subject matter expert in processes and methodologies with ability to adapt and improvise in various situations. Expert in navigating through ambiguity and prioritizing conflicting asks. Expert level skills in design, architecture and delivery, with an ability to take a deep dive in the implementation aspects if the situation demands. Demonstrates expert level skills in collaboration with different stakeholders, influences decisions, ability to take strategic view.
    • Strong English verbal & written communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse global group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
    • Complete project based work keeping a focus on hitting key project milestones.
    • Self-motivator and Possesses good communication skills to coordinate, resolve queries of both external and internal customers
    • Team leadership experience with excellent interpersonal skills and people centric approach to understand employee needs as well as to manage employee expectations
    • Positive attitude – goes the extra mile, is committed, willing to take on challenges and has a can-do mind-set.
    • Strong SAP Technical knowhow with good understanding of cross functional domains e.g. PS, SD, MM, FI-CO,PP, PM, etc.
    • Good understanding of SAP Application Integrations, SAP PI/PO, Portal, Communication protocols, advanced technologies.
    • Technical solution architecture capabilities.
    • Demonstrate knowledge of business' structure (P&Ls) and the interplay of functions to support business goals; demonstrate knowledge of the business products, key processes, suppliers, customers and market/competitors.
    • Develops, motivates and directs staff to create a team environment.
    • Recommends expenditures based on the size, scope, and cost of hardware and software components. Assists in developing business cases.
    • Collaborates with project management on reporting project status, issues, risks and benefits. Meets with project leaders and software development Leaders to ensure progress towards architectural alignment with project goals and requirements.
    • Ensures understanding of issues and presents clear rationale.
    • Applies values, business strategy, policies, precedent, and experience to make complex decisions with uncertain consequences.
    • Challenges conventional thinking and traditional ways of operating and invites stakeholders to identify issues and opportunities.
    • Takes a systems perspective that inter-relates internal and external factors for planning. Envisions compares and contrasts multiple potential medium range operational futures.
    • Should have worked in at least 3 full life cycle implementations
    • Strong background assisting in technical solution architectural design, planning and managing SAP technical delivery

    • Must be willing to work out of an office located in Atlanta, GA or the office in Bratislava, Slovakia.
