Role Summary: The OEM Sales Account Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong, productive working relationships with customers at all levels of their organizations. You will develop develops practical and innovative ways of marketing new segment strategies and manages new and existing customer relationships to meet the goals and objectives of the business. Essential Responsibilities: As the OEM Sales Account Manager, you will:
Analyze territorial sales potential and develop marketing and management strategies, utilizing regional commercial operation resources necessary to achieve customer service levels
Actively seek and build relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client’s relationships
Monitor customer satisfaction and propose / deliver corrective actions
Actively listen to customers’ needs and provide effective technical service to resolve issues and inquiries
Develop & maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through consistent high quality interactions with customer management. Build long term strategic alliance with portfolio of accounts to continue to add value, and promote Service offerings to identify and escalate commercial service needs to drive customer NPS
Maintain proper relationships with commercial and channel customer segments and key decision makers within those segments
Provide management with current competitive information on a continuing basis, including competitive pricing, policy changes, product development, and marketing strategies
Submit accurate and timely reporting of pertinent sales activities
Keep management aware of commercial developments and trends, both product and market that could affect future business
Develop and implement marketing programs, training sessions, and product field application meetings with channel segment
Support field sales personnel with technical, strategic, and administrative assistance to bring the field closer to operations
Technical advisor and liaison to other markets operating within designated district as required
Generate cross-selling leads and make it easier to do business with Industrial Solutions
Identify and track upcoming sales opportunities and influence customer specifications to favor GE
Conduct technical presentations to create preference for GE
Introduce new products to existing customer base and identify target customers
Meet or exceed assigned volume and margin measurement
Bachelor’s Degree Business and/or Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience
