Role Summary: The Mojave A & E Technician will accomplish maintenance, overhaul, repair, modifications and rework on assigned engine, aircraft and test cell components under the leadership of the appropriate staff or project personnel.
In addition, you will :
Perform CVP (Characteristic Verification Program), routine and detailed quality inspections of the above areas to ensure compliance and conformance with specifications and technical documents
Interpret work instructions, quality plans, process planning, technical data, etc. to produce satisfactory results with quality and quantity of work performed to meet applicable technical requirements
Comply with applicable EHS laws, regulations and internal procedures, including participation in on-going programs to improve the health & safety environment in the workplace
Perform other work as assigned (to include being cross-trained into other EFTC maintenance disciplines)
Maintain effective communications with customers, support organizations and team members
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or High School Diploma / GED with a minimum 4 years of manufacturing or shop experience)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of aircraft and / or aircraft engines with emphasis on the specific skills related to Propulsion System Assembly Test and Overhaul
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT :
Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance
Prior documented quality assurance / inspector experience or previous CVP (Quality Assurance) certification, a FAA A&P License
Proven ability to work in a team environment and successfully function as part of a team
Demonstrates the ability to work effectively as part of a team oriented work force
Experience with F 118 and/or F 110
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
